   Feasibility

Your facility may be able to capitalize on waste products by converting them into usable energy. Other benefits may make renewable energy even more viable for your operation, for example, using the solid by-product from an anaerobic digester for bedding your dairy cows.

There are a lot of factors that need to be considered to see how much a system would cost for your site specifically and how soon the system would pay for itself. This is done by doing a feasibility study.

We have done feasibility studies on agricultural facilities with 50,000 head as well as studies on facilities with 500 head. Renewable energy systems are usually feasible on dairy facilities with over 1,000 head. Sites can vary, however, so the feasibility study is a very good first step.
